Hi, the Sandisk Sansa m240 mp3 player sounds like something I'd like. Problem is, I'm not sure how accessible it is. Does anyone know anything about this player? If any of you have this model, how well does it work? Is difficult to use? Any information would be very helpful.

I have the 200 of the same series. I don't know how it compares to other off-the-shelf players from real-world experience. I've figured out how to do what I want with it, namely download stuff from the computer, play the stuff, and use the FM radio. Its really a question of memorizing key presses, and which ones. The manual is clear and well-written, which is more than I can say for some electronic devices I've seen as of late.

Thanks, does it have a lot of menus to sort through? If so, how do you manage your playlists? The menu issue is really tripping me up! Also, how good is the fm tuner. Does it really only have 20 stations? That doesn't sound like a lot. Can you access the player in windows media player or my computer? So far, it sounds like an okay player. I have another mp3 player that doesn't hold as many songs. I'd like something that'll hold more stuff so I can take it with me while traveling.

To be honest, I don't access the playlists. In fact, the unit is probably overkill for what I wanted in terms of storage. The good news is that you can use folders and I generally go through windows explorer to manage my files. depending on where you live and your music listening tastes, 20 stations might be enough. I live in Baltimore Maryland, and have 14 or 15 loaded in my tuner. I find that to be sufficient for me. If you'd like me to e-mail you a copy of the owner's manual for mine so you can lok it over, let me know via private mail, and I'll be glad to do so.
